Description
Combined with an RJ45 PCB socket (sold separately below) gives you ready access from a microcontroller to a CAT5 or CAT6 cable.
RJ45 socket pinouts are odd, offset rows, and not compatible with a breadboard. However, with this breakout board, which brings the 8 pins of the RJ45 out to a single 8-pin, 0.1" row, you can run CAT5 or CAT6 directly to your breadboard project. The board adapts the odd RJ45 pinout to an easily accessible header.
