This is the main baseplate for the mini2440 Chameleon 1 enclosure system. All mounting holes are pre-drilled for perfect placement of your FriendlyARM mini2440 board.
This is a replacement or spare part for the Chameleon 1 enclosure system. The baseplate is powder-coated and textured. This is the original piece.
Reasons why you may need or want this part:
1) Since the Chameleon 1 screws are self-drilling, repeated loosening and tightening operations can cause the self-drilled holes to enlarge over time which can cause the enclosure to feel "loose". This is the best way to tighten things up again.
2) If you already have a Chameleon 1 enclosure system, just add a mini2440 faceplate and baseplate and you can reuse your lid and other components.
3) You need spare parts for a system of mini2440 boards.
