Until now, there have been few options to protect the popular FriendlyARM mini2440. Based on the proven design of the Chameleon 1 Universal enclosure system, the Chameleon 1 for mini2440 is a complete enclosure system designed specifically to house the mini2440 in a standalone, "headless" configuration
This enclosure works like the Chameleon 1 Basic but is tailored to just the FriendlyARM mini2440.
Once you get your mini2440 system running the way you want, just fit the lid on the base, fasten it with the included self-tapping Tek screws, and you have a bomber enclosure for the sweet mini2440.
Components included with the Chameleon 1 for mini2440 with LCD:
- Chameleon 1 Baseplate with mini2440 template for mounting holes
- Chameleon 1 lid (No cutout for LCD)
- Faceplate custom designed for the mini2440
- Hardware package including assorted common 4-40 standoffs, screws, and nuts
- Self-tapping screws to securely fasten the lid, baseplate, and faceplates.
The mini2440 and LCD are sold separately.
While the Chameleon 1 is a nice, compact enclosure, there's still room for your other electronics inside.

Lid:
- Length – 6.15”
- Width - 5.00”
- Height – 2.00”
Base Plate:
- Length – 6.15”
- Width - 4.90”
- Height – 0.40”
If you run your mini2440 with a 3.5" LCD, a mini2440 with LCD version of the Chameleon is also available.
