The Dog House for BeagleBoard xM is a sturdy, lightweight, powder-coated aluminum case for the Beagle Board xM. The Dog House by itself weighs just 4.5 ounces (127 grams) - with the Beagle Board xM mounted, the package weighs less than 7 ounces. A three piece design including a lid, wrapper, and baseplate makes assembling a breeze, not to mention the built-in standoffs with 4-40 fasteners to secure your board to the baseplate.
Built-in mounting feet make it easy to attach your Beagle Board xM anywhere like under a desk, in the ceiling or on the wall. You can even insert small rubber feet (not included) if you need to set it on your desk.

The Base
The base is specially designed with built-in standoffs so your Beagle Board xM is perfectly aligned every time. It also makes assembling the enclosure simpler and there's less hardware to handle. Two tabs on the base align with the lid forming a tight fit that's secure and straight.
Mounting
When you need to anchor the Beagle Board xM, we've got you covered. The built-in mounting feet let you screw or bolt the enclosure to almost anything in any orientation that suits your application, even upside down. You can also insert the rubber feet, the type you get with development boards, into the mounting feet of the Dog House so you can set it on your desk and have a no-skid setup.
Finish
The Dog House for Beagle Board xM case finish is a textured, powder coated aluminum that resists scratching and hides fingerprints. Raw aluminum can't be painted, but since this is powder coated, if you don't like black, you can paint over powder coating and it will stick.
